ENSO STUDIO: An atelier for Christopher Nolan

Based on the time concept that Nolan uses in his movies and the complicated time setup of his movies; The objective was to craft a studio space that engenders a profound sense of temporal dissolution and infinity. To this end, a circular architectural form was employed, serving as a symbolic representation of perpetual continuity. The design concept revolves around an intricate network of interwoven corridors that stretch into the infinite. To further intensify the temporal disorientation, the entire structure is subterranean, thereby eliminating any connection to natural diurnal rhythms, as sunlight is entirely absent. Illumination throughout the building is orchestrated through artificial lighting systems.
